The Last Monday (TLM)

The Last Monday (TLM) team would like to proudly announce the official formation of first-ever Muslim Malayalee Student Organization in North America.

A small program launched in 2015 by students to help students has by the grace of Allah, grown from a mere handful to 300+ members today. We help international students in course of their studies, accommodation, settlement, employment and other necessities. In a few years since its beginning, we were able to conduct seminars and info sessions in Career Guidance, Winter Preparation, Road Safety, Immigration and more. Al hamdu Lillah we were also able to contribute towards many charitable causes. We are also working towards the development in the fields of sports, cultural and other activities.

The Last Monday is registered as a Not-For-Profit organization under Govt of Ontario, Canada in the name Kerala Muslim Students Association (KMSA), Canada. With a 300 plus membership, its truly is the biggest Registered organization for Muslim students in Canada. We are currently working with International students in US to expand its branches.

On 13th May 2018, we held an executive council meeting in Downtown Toronto attended by 45 representatives from all over Ontario including from Windsor, Sarnia, London, Kitchener, Owen Sound, Orangeville, Peterborough, Barrie and GTA. In the executive council meeting, the organization elected 5 Interim office bearers via a ballot.

Wazeer Rahman (President),
Fouzan Ali (General Secretary),
Aslam Pacheeri (Treasurer)
Mohammed Salih (Public Relations) and
Jifin Ahamed (Event Coordinator)
will lead the team until the upcoming election in August 2018. To know more about the organization please visit www.lastmonday.ca
